Once I started reading this I absolutely could not put it down! Read it cover to cover in a evening. I know Ron and am related so I had heard his story but this gives the riveting details. It is a must read and I assure you you will not be able to put it down either. Conspiracy 2 will be released later this month and I have preordered mine already. Cannot wait to read the rest of the story......
This shocking true story keeps the reader intrigued till the very end. If you enjoy non fiction you will appreciate the story of this dedicated small town sheriff and the sinister plot to have him killed.
I found this book to be very easy to read with great dialogue! Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. Thanks for sharing the story..
Author St. Clair paints an endearing portrait of savvy small-town Sheriff Ron Cunningham without a hint of irony. Much of the dialogue seems to be lifted straight from audio surveillance, giving a real-time feeling that keeps the reader on the edge of hir seat. Juxtaposing humorous vignettes (i.e. Ron's creative campaign against indecent exposure) against the high suspense and drama surrounding the contract on the good Sheriff's life, St. Clair makes this true story immortal.
I just happen to know Ron and his story so when I got a chance to buy and read this book I jumped. Some of the characters in this book and scary but somehow Ron kept his head when all around him were losing theirs. I found this book an easy read with quick twist that make it hard to put down. Plus I know RON. Buy this book
